I’ve always been interested in the teacher as a researcher. After all, I learn something new in my profession each day and much of my craft is built upon trial and error.

Currently, I’m in the process of researching the commonalities and disparities between urban and rural education. As a product of the latter and an instructor to students in the former, I am highly interested in how community, education and family guide, shape and inform our school-aged children.
